The event was organized by the Organizing Committee of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Urban Cycling Challenge, hosted by the Guangdong Sports Industry Association and the Guangdong Cycling Association, and undertaken by the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hengqin New Area Management Committee and Zhuhai Huafa Group Company. Athletes in the elite group are not limited to nationality, household registration, gender and athlete level, but must reach the competitive level of professional cyclists; The amateur category is limited to those aged 18-60 who have been engaged in cycling for a long time, have good physical fitness and cycling ability, and are equipped with exclusive personal cycling equipment. The public cycling group is limited to healthy people aged 18-60 who are suitable for cycling, and those under the age of 18 must be supervised and accompanied by an adult.

This year's Tour of the Greater Bay Area Cycling Race has two forms: sub-station registration and full station registration, after the registration of the whole station, more than one person can participate in the race, but each station has only one participant, and the total score is still calculated according to one person The final ranking.
