The competition is divided into "student group", "teaching staff group" and "leadership group". Among them, the individual events of the student group cover the "Grand Slam" combination of men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, which will be launched in the form of group round-robin. The final three finalists of last year's team competition, Hong Kong Baptist University, Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Technology and Chinese University of Hong Kong, returned to Zhuhai and once again won the top three team results in this competition. However, this is the first time that the event has seen a team double, with Hong Kong Baptist University and Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Technology tying for first place with the same total points.
In the men's singles event, Wong Tsz-hin from Hong Kong Baptist University advanced to the quarterfinals with four wins in the group stage, and a number of good players won the first place, and one person scored 9 points. The first place in the women's singles event was won by Luo Yiyin of the University of Hong Kong Chinese. Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Technology is strong, far ahead of most colleges and universities in the total results of men's and women's singles and men's and women's doubles.
