Khachanov was born into a Russian-Armenia family, both to former medical students. Even among the best professional players, Khachanov was one of the early players to touch tennis. At the age of three, he began playing tennis under the guidance of his parents. Of course, like many other athletes, Khachanov's athletic talent is manifested in more than one sport, in addition to tennis, he also swims, plays basketball, and even learns chess.

Whether on the tennis court or beyond, Khachanov impresses with his incisive attacking style. As a fan of Safin and Del Potro, he "authentically" reproduces his idols' hammer forehands and cannonball serves.

Perhaps it was through the exploration of different disciplines that he developed his outstanding learning ability, although Khachanov's teenage career was a little uneventful (he peaked at 16th), he continued to climb the ranks after turning professional. In August 2014, he won the Hope Race for the first time; In September 2015, he won his first Challenger title; In October 2016, at the age of 20, he had already won his first tour title.

In the 2018 season, Khachanov entered an explosive period. He won three titles on tour that year, including at the ATP Paris Masters at the end of the year, when he was crowned by beating Djokovic in the final, becoming the first of Russia's three tennis trio (the other two being Medvedev and Rublev) to win honours in this division.

Khachanov may not be the most striking of his peers, but he has been on his to-earthly path to tennis. When you look back, you will realize that he has come so far.

It is said that tennis is a lonely sport, but Khachanov has never lacked company on his way to tennis, and "Russian" players such as Rublev, Medvedev, and Zverev are all his friends.

Among his friends, Rublev had a particularly close relationship with him. They have been playing at the same tournament since they were 12 years old and have grown up together at all levels of competition, and are now both at the top of the tour. They also sometimes play together in doubles, and at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, the pair won a silver medal in men's doubles.

In 2014, Khachanov went to the 4Slam Tennis Academy in Barcelona and began to receive systematic instruction there. Two years later, on his recommendation, Rublev also joined the same tennis academy. Outside of training, the two will play games and watch movies in the same room, which can be described as intimate.

And his love story with his wife Shklyaeva is also very enviable, the two became acquainted with Kachanov at the age of 8 because of tennis, began dating in 2011, and fell in love for life five years later, and now have two very lovely sons. For the companionship and support of his close friends and family, the affectionate and righteous Khachanov is also deeply grateful.

In recent years, Khachanov's temperament has been further improved, and he has become a veritable "Mr. Big Scene". At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, he fought for a silver medal in men's singles. In the Grand Slam arena, starting with the 2022 US Open, Khachanov has achieved three consecutive appearances: semifinals, semifinals and quarterfinals, and at the 2023 Australian Open, he unlocked the "full quarterfinals" of the Grand Slam.

Unfortunately, Kachanov suffered a fracture at the French Open, and had to withdraw from all tournaments since then, including Wimbledon. However, the accidental injury also gave Khachanov a rare opportunity to accompany his wife to give birth and see the birth of his second son for the first time. Having been able to spend his days recuperating from his injuries with his family, Khachanov was full of "electricity" and had a stronger motivation as he prepared for his comeback.

Khachanov will start his first trip to Hengqin in the upcoming 2023 Zhuhai Tennis Championships, which will also be his return to the land of China after four years. In fact, China has recorded some important moments in Khachanov's career. His last junior tournament, his first men's singles title on tour, and his last meeting with his idol Del Potro on hard courts all took place at an event held in China.
