Hengqin International Tennis Center
Completed in September 2015, the Hengqin International Tennis Centre is located in the central part of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, close to the Hengqin Campus of the University of Macau and the Hengqin Port. With a total land area of 117,000 square meters, the venue currently has a 5,000-seat central court - Huafa Center Court, one 1,500-seat outdoor competition field, one 620-seat outdoor competition field, three 250-seat outdoor competition fields, and 12 outdoor training fields.
The stadium concept was designed by POPULOUS, a global leader in tennis arena design. With the "rising forest" as the landscape design concept, the designer intends to create the entire tennis center as a green park, which is one of the most "green" tennis venues in China.
Huafa Water Sports Center
The center is adjacent to the Hengqin International Tennis Center, covering an area of 5,761 square meters, with a total construction area of about 13,000 square meters, a building height of 24 meters and a height of 3 floors. It was designed by the "Water Cube" team CCDI International.
The venue has 1,800 seats. There is a 25-meter-by-25-meter standard pool with a water depth of 6 meters, and a 1-meter, 3-meter springboard and a 1-meter, 3-meter, 5-meter, 7.5-meter and 10-meter springboard are set up, and professional facilities such as athletes' warm-up rooms, land training rooms, referees' office rooms, and media centers are set up.
Wuxi Economic Development Zone Sports Complex
Wuxi Economic Development Zone Sports ComplexWuxi Economic Development Zone Sports Complex, with a total land area of 45,000 square meters and a construction area of about 78,000 square meters, includes a 5,000-seat professional tennis court, a 3,500-seat taekwondo hall, two indoor tennis courts, six standard tennis training fields, sports function rooms and other venue clusters. The venue will officially operate on January 1, 2023, and successfully hold the "Jingkai Cup" Tennis Challenge on New Year's Day, and regularly hold public welfare training, so that tennis can enter the community and campus. As of February 29, 2024, the venue has served a total of 17,736 people, including 5,002 public welfare trainings and 2,000 sports team training/market training, making this venue truly a professional venue that benefits the people and is close to the people. At present, Huafa Sports is committed to building a comprehensive cultural and sports venue centered on tennis by introducing and planning to host the ATP Challenge Series in May, 4 CTJ Youth Points Tournaments, 1 3x3 Basketball Tournament, 1 TiMi E-sports Tournament and various non-governmental events.
General Hill Gymnasium
The gymnasium is backed by the lush Jiangjun Mountain, and echoes with Gongbei Bay, and the surrounding landscape highlights the characteristics of the city's embrace of mountains and seas. In the design of the façade of the gymnasium, it strives to blend with the tough lines of the mountain, embellishing the logo design of the ball game to enhance the visual impact. According to the plan, the total construction area of the stadium is 5,363.96 square meters, divided into two floors, and 50 parking spaces on the ground. The interior of the gymnasium is mainly a badminton court with a large number of sports audiences, and 20 indoor professional badminton courts are planned, equipped with resting rooms, shower rooms and changing rooms required for serving public sports. At the same time, in order to meet the diverse fitness needs of the public, the project also plans to have a multi-functional sports room, which can provide sufficient space for the development of yoga training and other projects. The project is expected to be basically completed in June 24 to serve the public as soon as possible.
