横琴马拉松于2018年开始举办，是粤港澳大湾区极具特色的马拉松赛事之一。比赛在横琴国际休闲旅游岛举行，是充满海岛风情的环岛特色马拉松。横琴马拉松的举办，填补了珠海“全程马拉松”的空白。2018年，“琴马”从中国田径协会评为A1级赛事起步，经过2年的努力，“琴马”在赛事规模、赛事体验和服务、城市文化推广等各项细节得到全面提升，最终荣获2019年度铜牌赛事殊荣。

        Hengqin Marathon, which started in 2018, is one of the most distinctive marathon events in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.The race was held in Hengqin International Leisure and Tourism Island. It was a special marathon around the island full of island flavor.The holding of Hengqin Marathon fills the gap of Zhuhai "Full Marathon".In 2018, "Qinma" started from being rated A1 by the Chinese Athletics Association. After two years of efforts, "Qinma" has been comprehensively improved in terms of the event scale, event experience and service, urban culture promotion and other details, and finally won the bronze medal in 2019.

 

        2019年赛事起点位于展现横琴新区金融产业发展蓝图及成就的横琴金融产业服务基地，途经横琴口岸商圈、天沐河两岸、粤澳合作中医药产业园、星乐度乐园、花海长廊、芒洲湿地、横琴二桥、智慧岛等极具横琴特色的地标建筑及景点。沿线不仅向外界全方位展示“横琴国际休闲旅游岛”的自然生态景观和人文景观，也向外界传递了横琴日新月异的发展成果。在本届赛事评选结果中，横琴马拉松荣获“最美赛道”殊荣。

        除了日渐提升的硬实力及优美的赛道，横琴马拉松还与澳门携手，联动打造体育+旅游概念。在2019年1万名跑者中，聚集了众多来自粤港澳大湾区城市的跑友们，尤其有众多澳门跑友前来共襄盛举，横琴马拉松为珠澳联动发展及交流，以及推动横琴建设国际休闲旅游岛方面提供了新的平台。

        2020年，横琴人寿横琴马拉松组委会不断优化及开发新的周边系列赛事。5月份的保护中华白海豚公益线上跑，为“琴马”预热；据悉，为了配合珠海不断成熟的城市硬件设施发展以及日渐浓厚的路跑氛围，10月份赛事方将推出珠海最美赛道暨五佳跑步路线评选活动，路线涵盖珠海全区域典型路线，其中包含情侣路、横琴天沐河沿岸、香山湖公园、野狸岛、大门口湿地公园等极具特色的城市地标及休闲中心。此举意在营造更浓厚的路跑氛围，向外展现珠海优美的人文自然环境，打造更美好的城市休闲生活。
